New Flower Troughs At Ainsdale Railway Station
Have you seen the recently planted flower troughs on the station platforms?
We are delighted to add seasonal colour and cheer to all who use the station. Thank you to the Ainsdale Civic Society’s Station Volunteers for regularly tending to them.
The fence baskets will be filled in the next few weeks.
Also, a big thank you to Merseyrail for purchasing the troughs, which were made locally by the students of Bridge Inn Community Farm, (of which Edda Community Arts and Library is part). Well done to the students for doing such a terrific job.
Many thanks to the ACS volunteers for keeping the station book shelves well stocked – although we always welcome donations of books from residents.
It is all looking good with the fabulous artwork from the school children on the fence banners.
This collective community effort contributes to making Ainsdale a great place to be!
